MADAN, Falconer (1851-1935) Bodleian Library 1880-1919 (DL 1880, CL 1912)
He compiled Oxford books 1895-1931 (3 vols.), initiated the Bodleian quarterly record, and did much, during World War I, to maintain service standards despite extremely difficult conditions. He was LA President in 1914.
